Hailing from Philadelphia, PA, Antoinnette honed her craft at the prestigious Philadelphia Dance Company and the renowned Martha Graham School in New York. Passionate about her art, she earned a minor in dance from Rowan University, solidifying her dedication to the dance world.


In a shining moment of her career, Antoinnette made her unforgettable off-Broadway debut in West Side Story at the Candlelight Theater in Delaware, showcasing her immense talent and captivating presence on stage. It was a milestone that further solidified her reputation as a standout performer in the industry.


However, it was in the electrifying world of professional cheerleading that Antoinnette found her true calling. Thriving on the infectious energy of the crowd, she discovered a perfect blend of dance, community engagement, and mentorship that fueled her passion like never before. Now, as she looks ahead to the future, Antoinnette is eager to fuse her love for dance with her passion for makeup artistry, creating a unique synergy where the pop in her hips meets the pop in her lips.

Tina Heuges graduated from the University of the Arts with a BFA in Modern/Dance Education and MFA from Temple University in Dance Composition. Tina’s professional teaching portfolio spans over 25 years at Temple University, Drexel University, and University of Pennsylvania, The Bolles School, Williamstown High School, Cedar Crest College, Delaware Valley Dance Academy, North Hampton Community College, Philadelphia High School for Creative and Performing Arts, Lehigh Valley Performing Arts High School and Perkins Center for the Arts.

 

She has presented choreography at American College Dance Festival, Monarch Dance Company, Kimmel Center Commonwealth Plaza, Philadelphia Museum of Art, Painted Bride Arts Center, Annenberg Center and many others.  Tina has been teaching at The Dance Factory in South Jersey since 2011 and is in her second season as a judge for Dancers, Inc.


Jessica Ice - Musical Theater

Jessica Ice has been dancing since the age of 3 and has no intention of stopping anytime soon! Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pa, Jessica grew up dancing at the Maryen Lorrain Dance Studio. She danced for 15 years and competed in the regional and national spectrum for 12 of those years earning many awards and scholarships including Dance Educators of America’s Miss Dance of America. Jessica attended Broadway Theatre Project at the age of 17 and began making professional connections she continues to work with today. 


With the training and confidence she gained at BTP, Jessica decided to attend James Madison University and pursue her Bachelor of Arts degree in Musical Theatre. While at JMU Jessica performed in 14 musical theatre and dance productions and worked as a choreographer for another 5. She graduated JMU summa cum laude and was the recipient of the outstanding musical theatre graduate award. Jessica then moved to NYC and has been working professionally ever since. She has worked on cruise ships, back up danced for pop singer Ashley Allen, performed at many regional theaters across the country, been a resident ensemble member at the Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera, and toured during the holidays with Elf, the musical. Jessica has also dipped her toe into the professional choreography world, choreographing a piece “This Is Me” for the NYC 2020 Dancers Agains Cancer Gala, dedicated to her childhood dance teacher. 


When Jessica is not performing, she stays busy as the owner and artistic director of a new convention/competition The 360 Dance Experience. Jessica is currently a student at NYU gaining her Master of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics with the intent to use her degree to help dancers and athletes struggling with disordered eating. Jessica just returned from her first performance since the beginning of the pandemic where she performed on Heinz Field in The Wizard of Oz.  



Isabel Garcia Kaplan - Ballet

Isabel Garcia Kaplan is a Delaware and Philadelphia Area based professional dancer and choreographer. A Maryland native, she trained most notably at Edna Lee Dance studio with Ashley Canterna Hardy and Mary Moran. Isabel received Bachelor of Arts degrees in Dance and in Communications from DeSales University, where she trained under Trinette Singleton, Timothy Cowart, Tara Madsen Robbins, and Lynn Mariani. She then moved to New York City, where she was based for six years pursuing professional Musical Theatre and continuing her dance training.


In New York City, Isabel trained primarily at Broadway Dance Center and Steps on Broadway with industry experts such as Joshua Bergasse, James Kinney, Richard J. Hinds, Michael Mindlin, Shannon Lewis, Nicholas Palmquist, Marc Kimelman, Karla Garcia, Ray Hesselink, Lizz Picini, and Al Blackstone. She has also attended workshops with Partner Up (Mark Stuart), the Fosse Legacy Workshop (Anne Reinking and Valerie Pettiford), and American Dance Machine. Isabel has worked with accoladed choreographers such as Alex Sanchez and Richard Hinds, and she has performed the original choreography of Jerome Robbins (West Side Story), Bob Fosse (Chicago) and Alwin Nikolais (“Tensile Involvement”). Her professional performance credits include a Christmas show at Hersheypark and musicals at Shakespeare Festivals in Alabama and Pennsylvania, Fulton Theatre, Fireside Theatre, and Olney Theatre.


With over 25 years of dance training, Isabel has also choreographed since her youth and taught for twelve years. Over the years she has guest taught at studios in Alabama, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Connecticut, Delaware, and in Maryland, where she served ten years as a guest teacher and choreographer for Studio Dans. Her choreography has earned multiple top-score awards, choreography awards, and special recognitions at dance competitions. Recently Isabel has been teaching dance at Paul VI High School as a temporary long-term substitute instructor. You will find her most frequently teaching Jazz and Musical Theatre classes in Swedesboro, NJ and Wilmington, DE, as well as substituting in additional disciplines such as Ballet and Lyrical throughout the Delaware/Philadelphia region.  



Taylor Martin - Acro/Tumbling

Taylor’s dance training began at the age of three years old and has become a lifelong pursuit.  She has trained extensively in multiple genres including ballet, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip-hop, tap, etc. Throughout her years she has trained with teachers from all over the world including Peter Stark (Boston Ballet), Christopher Fleming, Natasha Zeiger  (The Rock School), Tracy Alvey and Roger Van Fleteran (Alabama Ballet), Phillis Papa (Atlantic City Ballet), Christopher Bruce and Simon Ball (Houston Ballet) and Darla Hoover (Balanchine Trust). 

 Mastering a variety of dance forms has served her well earning her numerous national dance competition and college dance team top awards, as well as, several college and summer intensive scholarships. After graduating from The Rock School for Dance Education she went on to have professional career with the Alabama Ballet and Atlantic City Ballet. Her professional career also took her to perform in a variety of shows that toured the US.

 

In addition to her passion for performing, she also has a passion for choreographing. Her choreography has been featured in new ballet repertoire, over-all national winning solo/group competitions and in guest works all over the country.

 

Along her professional endeavors she was also able to learn the techniques of acro/tumbling. She has now been a tumble/acro teacher for ten plus years and continues to share this passion with her students.

 

Taylor now uses all her training to teach the next generation of dancers. She believes in the joy of movement, in the discipline that dance affords and in promoting being a positive force both on and off the stage.

Jen Powell - Tap

Jen began her dance journey in South Jersey training in ballet, jazz, modern, tap, musical theater, hip hop, and contemporary. This year marks Jen's 20th year teaching dance to students of all ages. Her versatile background allows her to develop and train well-rounded dancers.


Jen immersed herself in the dance competition world at a young age and never looked back! After college, Jen established her own dance company and took her rookie team to the qualifying national showcase at Starbound in 2012. Most recently, Jen’s choreography won the top highest scoring senior routine at Backstage in 2022 and 2023. 

Jen views the art of dance as an outlet to express oneself when words simply cannot. She focuses on building a dancers' self worth through movement and creation.
